We are raising funds to replace the Chalet for next year!   You want to ski for a good reason?
You must have noticed the Chalet is getting old and it needs to be rebuilt! In order to avoid a crisis, we decided to act and launch a large financing campaign which will take place throughout the season! The construction of a new Chalet could start as of next spring! Come see and take part in our daring plan! details...   During the ski season 2006/2007 Mont Alta will donate to the Fondation de L'Hôpital Sainte-Justine de Montréal the sum of 50 cents for every ski ticket (adult and week end) sold at the hill ticket office.

WELCOME TO MONT ALTA !
Opened in 1951 and located on highway 117 in Val David, Mont Alta offers an array of 178 meters and 27 trails served by a double chair-lift. Located in the snow belt of the Laurentians, the mountain receives a phenomenal quantity of snow, so that there is no need to manufacture snow in order to be open from the Christmas holidays to mid-April!
Mont Alta offers challenges for all skill levels, with long trails for beginners and intermediate skiers, as well as another side with many wooded trails covered with moguls of which some reach unequalled levels of difficulty in the area!
In general, the mountain is perfect if you are looking for beautiful challenges close to Montreal and is interesting for those who want to improve in the sport of skiing. Are you ready for Mont Alta? Come and discover it!
